Women’s Ministry Coordinator
Regina has served in the church as nursery attendant, Sunday school teacher, church secretary and special event staff coordinator. She is a Certified Pastoral Counselor and an Ordained Senior Chaplain for the International Fellowship of Chaplains (IFOC). Regina has also worked with the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team, as a Chaplain, and has been on mission trips to Mexico and Israel.
Through a series of events, Regina began teaching Bible studies at the Bucks County Correctional Facility in 1997. In 2012, Regina joined the staff of Life Abundant, Inc. as the Admin. Assistant.
After many years of teaching and mentoring, Regina accepted the role of Interim Women’s Ministry Coordinator in 2018. She has amassed a wealth of knowledge and experiences during her years with Life Abundant. We are excited to see how God will use Regina in this new role.
“It is hard for me to believe that I started in 1997 and that I am still going into the Bucks County Correctional Facility. Working with the women inmates has been such a blessing…words cannot even describe.”
Men’s Ministry Coordinator
A graduate of the University of MS School of Pharmacy, Paul began his career as a pharmacist. After leaving the practice, he worked in sales, marketing and managed care with Merck, & Co. Inc. for nearly 27 years.
In retirement, Paul was motivated by Matthew 25:35 and Jesus’ words regarding “the least of these my brothers” and was led to a ministry that served homeless men in an urban shelter.
In 2015, Paul believed that ministry to men should also include those in prison. He subsequently joined the Life Abundant team in March that year and began to mentor men at the correctional facilities. Paul was appointed to the Men’s Ministry Coordinator position in 2020.
“I am convinced that the only route to the healing, for many of these men, is a love relationship with God through Jesus. I look forward to this opportunity to interview and identify inmates that seek such a relationship and are committed to the hard work of changing the direction of their lives” Paul.
Paul, and his wife Nan, are active members of Doylestown United Methodist Church.
